Cops and robbers - What do you know about plastic

The "Cops and Robbers" activity is an engaging educational exercise designed to test and expand pupils' knowledge about plastic. Initially, students are given a two-minute window to jot down everything they can recall about the material on their own. This phase encourages them to dig into their memories and bring forth any facts or information they associate with plastic, fostering independent thinking and recall abilities.

Following this, the game introduces an interactive twist where pupils are given 60 seconds to 'steal' ideas from their peers. During this brief period, they can view the lists of up to three other children and add any new information they discover to the 'Stolen knowledge' section of their table. This part of the activity not only makes learning dynamic and fun but also promotes sharing knowledge and learning from one another. Each plausible statement written down scores two points, incentivising the pupils to recall and share accurate information. The entire activity is designed to last around 15 minutes, making it a quick and effective way to enhance understanding of the topic at hand.
