The 'Look, Say, Cover, Write, and Check' activity is an engaging method designed for home learning that helps students to master common exception words—words that do not follow the usual spelling rules. This activity encourages students to carefully observe (Look) each word, pronounce it (Say), hide it from view (Cover), attempt to write it from memory (Write), and then compare their attempt to the correct spelling (Check).
