Match up - Animals and their environments

In this interactive and educational activity, students are tasked with matching various animals to the environments they naturally inhabit. The environments listed include grasslands and woodlands, rainforests, mountains, deserts, and rivers. Students must use their knowledge of animal habitats to correctly place animals such as snow leopards, otters, toucans, centipedes, scorpions, meerkats, grey squirrels, poison dart frogs, beavers, and coyotes into their respective environments. Each correct match earns the student 2 points, and they are given a total of 10 minutes to complete the challenge.

The activity also serves as an opportunity to discuss broader biological concepts such as how living things are grouped and classified, and how animals adapt to their environment.
