Indian rubber, also known as natural rubber, is a type of substance that does not conduct electricity well. It is an insulator, which means it restricts the flow of electric current. Due to its insulating properties, Indian rubber is often used in the manufacturing of electrical insulators, protective gloves for electricians, and other safety equipment designed to prevent the passage of electricity. This makes it an essential material in ensuring safety in environments where electrical hazards are present.
