The Year Three Light Assessment is an educational tool designed to evaluate students' understanding of basic light concepts. They must also identify the type of harmful light emitted by the Sun and suggest protective measures for skin and eyes. The assessment continues with matching properties of materials (opaque, translucent, transparent) to their definitions. Students must then explain the formation of shadows, how to alter their size, and the times when shadows are longest on a sundial. This comprehensive assessment covers a range of topics, ensuring that students have a well-rounded understanding of light and its properties.
