Plant Growth (Nutrients and Room) - Results Tables

In a comprehensive study to determine which plant food optimally encourages growth, a series of results tables are prepared to track the length of the stem in millimetres over a four-week period. The tables compare the growth of plants that have not received any plant food with those that have been given Plant Food 1, Plant Food 2, or Plant Food 3. This methodical approach allows for a clear observation of the effectiveness of each plant food type on the growth rate of the plants. By monitoring the stem length weekly, the study aims to identify the most beneficial plant food for promoting robust plant growth.

Additionally, the study explores whether the amount of space available affects the germination process. Another set of results tables records the number of shoots seen each week when different quantities of seeds are sown—ranging from 10 to 50 seeds. This part of the investigation seeks to understand the impact of seed density on the germination rate, hypothesising that the amount of room provided for each seed may influence the number of shoots that successfully emerge. The data collected over the four weeks will offer insights into the optimal conditions for seed germination, considering factors such as space and nutrient availability.
