Weather Review - Objectives Labels
Science Resource Description
In Lesson 1.7 titled 'Weather Review', students embark on an observational journey through the cyclical patterns of the four seasons. The learning objectives for the day are clearly set out, with the main goal being to observe and recognise the distinctive changes that each season brings. To validate their understanding, students are prompted to answer a series of reflective questions. These questions are designed to assess whether the students can accurately name all the seasons and arrange them in their correct sequential order, describe various events and phenomena characteristic of each season, and correctly match specific months to their respective seasons.
The lesson's structure is centred around active engagement with the subject matter, encouraging students to not only memorise facts but also to develop a deeper comprehension of the temporal and environmental shifts that define the seasons. By the end of the lesson, students should be able to articulate their observations and demonstrate their newly acquired knowledge. Success in this lesson is measured by the students' ability to confidently and correctly respond to the key questions, thereby showing a clear understanding of the seasonal changes and their impact on the world around them.
