Multiplication and Division Spot the Mistake 2

The resource "Spot the Mistake 2" offers a set of interactive exercises aimed at Year 4 students to enhance their multiplication and division skills. This resource, created by KS2Gems in 2022, contains a PowerPoint with ten intentionally incorrect calculations—five in multiplication and five in division. Each slide presents a calculation for the children to scrutinize and identify the error made. The exercise is structured in three steps: firstly, students must detect the mistake; secondly, they need to articulate the nature of the mistake, promoting the use of mathematical terminology; and thirdly, they are tasked with performing the calculation correctly.
