Place Value within 50 - Order numbers within 50 - Starter

In a maths lesson aimed at Year 1 pupils during the Spring Term, children are introduced to the concept of place value within the number range of 50. Additionally, the lesson includes a visual activity where children complete a part-whole diagram with circles to represent the number 64, and they are asked to identify which jar is half-filled and which two jars combine to nearly fill another jar. This hands-on approach helps to solidify their understanding of fractions and addition within a practical context.
