6 Times Tables - Connect it

Connect It is an engaging and educational game designed to help players practice and reinforce their knowledge of the 6 times tables. To begin, you will need a set of counters, a 'Multiples of 6' board featuring numbers that are products of multiplying various numbers by 6, and a deck of cards numbered 0 through 12. The game starts with shuffling the cards and placing them face down. Players take turns drawing a card, multiplying the number by six, and then placing a counter on the corresponding number on the board. For example, if a player picks up a card with the number 4, they would cover the number 24 on the board, as 4 times 6 equals 24.

The objective of the game is to be the first player to cover four numbers in a straight line, which could be horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. For a longer and more challenging version of the game, players can aim to cover five numbers in a line to win. If a player draws a card and the product of that number and six is already covered on the board, they simply set the card aside and draw again. This simple yet fun game not only helps to solidify multiplication skills but also encourages strategic thinking as players work to outmaneuver their opponents and achieve the winning line of numbers.
