Cops and Robbers - What do I know about Immigration? - Year 6

In an interactive classroom activity titled "Cops and Robbers," Year 6 pupils are tasked with exploring their knowledge of immigration. The activity is designed to be collaborative and fast-paced, with students sitting in groups of four. Each pupil begins by spending two minutes filling in a chart with what they can recall about immigration, noting down their thoughts on the left side under 'Own recalled knowledge.' After this, they have one minute per person to review the contributions made by the other three members of their group. The aim is to identify any new information that they haven't already noted down themselves.

Following the review of their peers' knowledge, pupils then have the opportunity to 'steal' this newfound information by adding it to the 'Stolen knowledge' section of their chart. Each piece of information recorded in the chart is awarded two points, turning the learning process into a fun and competitive game.
