Letters from the Lighthouse - Session 11 - Reading Comprehension answers
English Resource Description
In session 11 of "Letters from the Lighthouse," Olive faints at the sight of a pilot's broken arm. She is concerned about the lighthouse's new grey paint, fearing it might fail to warn boats of nearby dangers, especially a missing boat from France. Olive's view of Queenie evolves from thinking her cold and secretive to admiring her authority and intelligence. Despite the circumstances, Olive continues to send reassuring postcards to her mother as instructed by Mr Barrowman. Ephraim had worriedly assumed Suki's silence was due to offence, but he allows Olive to tackle a code independently to gauge her understanding and determination. Ephraim's hope that Suki isn't involved in a risky situation is due to his affection for her and the potential danger she may be in.
