Blockbusters is an interactive PowerPoint game designed to consolidate students' understanding in a fun and engaging way. The game, created by Online Teaching Resources Ltd, is structured to be played by dividing the class into two teams: a RED team and a GREEN team. The objective of the game is for each team to form an unbroken line across the board; the RED team aims to connect horizontally, while the GREEN team strives for a vertical connection. The game board consists of hexagons, each labelled with a different letter.

The quizmaster facilitates the game by asking questions that relate to the letters on the board. For example, a question might be "What 'R' is the surname of the author of the Harry Potter books?" Teams compete to answer correctly, with the winning team's colour claiming the hexagon. A single click turns the hexagon RED, a double click turns it GREEN, and three clicks turn it BLACK, indicating a wrong answer from both teams, thus removing the hexagon from play.
