Art helps kids understand math ideas as they observe, talk about and sketch what they see. When students connect what they are learning in school to art experiences at home, it deepens understanding.In this activity, children aged 8-11 will sketch outdoors and use multiplication to turn their draft drawings into art filled with patterns.
