This Get the Buzz SATs pack is an 11 page assessment pack for Year 6 Maths SATs. It is made up of a number of word problems that will test students understanding, rather than their ability to learn to calculate.  

<p>The "Get The Buzz Practise Those KS2 SATs" pack from Buzzard Publishing offers a variety of mathematical challenges tailored for primary school students preparing for their SATs. For example, students must calculate the difference in weight between two puppies, one weighing 1.2kg and the other 950g. Another task involves Meg, who has a book of 646 pages and has read a total of 295 pages across two sessions. Students must figure out how many pages she has left to read. These tasks require students to demonstrate their mathematical methods clearly.</p>

<p>Further tasks within the pack include real-world applications of mathematics, such as financial planning, where Andy must determine how much he saves each month to reach a total of £1210 over 11 months. In another scenario, students calculate the volume of lemonade in each glass when a full 3.5-litre bottle is evenly distributed into 14 glasses.
