Length and perimeter teacher instructions

This booklet serves as a comprehensive resource for Year 3 teachers to address the curriculum objectives related to Measures: Length and Perimeter. Each activity within the booklet is aligned with specific objectives, which are clearly outlined at the start of each page. To facilitate a tailored learning experience, the booklet lists the necessary equipment and resources for each task. Activities are categorised by the optimal group size for their use—whole class, small groups, or pairs—indicated by distinct symbols, allowing teachers to easily identify the most suitable format for their classroom dynamics.

Teachers have the flexibility to incorporate these activities at various points in the lesson structure, depending on their educational goals.
