Maths Resource Description

👉 Learn how to find the points of inflection of a function given the equation or the graph of the function. The points of inflection of a function are the points where the graph of the function changes its concavity. The points of inflection can be found from the equation of a function by taking the second derivative of the function and setting it equal to zero. If the second derivative is a rational function, we set both the numerator and the denominator separately equal to zero to get the points of inflection. Given the graph of a function, the points of inflection are the points where the graph changes its concavity. If the graph of the first derivative of a function is given, then the turning points of the graph are the points of inflection of the function.
