The Worlds Worst Children - Lesson 3 - Grubby Gertrude

This Elementary School English teaching resource uses the collection of short stories by David Walliams to examine plot, character, theme, language and grammar at 4th Grade and 5th Grade pupils. Many of the activities explore the stories in an active and kinaesthetic way with numerous tasks requiring children to get out of their seats to interact with other children, carry out physical activities and to use the space around them. There are a number of cross curricular activities which cover Science, Geography and Design Technology in varying degrees.
