Inspired by: Meerkat Mail - Week 3

Sunny lives on an arid plain with his extensive and loving meerkat family. But Sunny is starting to feel claustrophobic and decides to set off to stay with his mongoose cousins and explore the outside world. The activities in this 3rd Grade English Lesson are clearly linked to objectives for composition, comprehension, grammar and punctuation using the book as the stimulus to learning. The engaging ideas provide super starting points for Elementary School learning and are driven by probing questions.
