Inspired by: The Man Whose Mother was a Pirate - Week 3

Come on a journey with a difference as the man pushes his mother in a wheel barrow, to smell the sea again. Travel from their home in the town, through the countryside to the coast - lots of opportunities to link learning to where you live or to a contrasting environment. The activities in this 2nd Grade English Lesson are clearly linked to objectives for composition, comprehension, grammar and punctuation using the book as the stimulus to learning.
