The human mouth is home to a variety of teeth, each serving a unique purpose in the process of eating and digesting food. There are three main types of teeth that play different roles. First, we have the incisors, which are located at the front of the mouth. These flat, sharp teeth are essential for biting off pieces of food and initiating the chewing process. Next, the canines are situated at the corners of the dental arch. Their pointed shape and stronger structure make them ideal for tearing and ripping food apart. Lastly, molars are found at the back of the mouth. These large, robust teeth are designed to crush and grind food, making it easier to swallow and digest.

It's important to note that our teeth undergo changes as we grow. The teeth we have during infancy, known as milk teeth or baby teeth, are not the same as the ones we acquire as adults. Adult teeth replace the baby teeth and are meant to last a lifetime with proper care.
