Earth scientists, which include geologists and palaeontologists, explore the planet's structure and history, while space scientists like astronomers and cosmologists delve into the cosmos. To become a scientist, one must be dedicated to studying subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, and often mathematics, throughout school and at a university level, specializing in a chosen field of science.
