However, amidst the fun, Goldilocks remains unfound, sparking curiosity and concern. The children are encouraged to predict Goldilocks's whereabouts, using their imagination and evidence from the story to justify their theories. They are then tasked with continuing the narrative, delving into the mysterious absence of Goldilocks and weaving their own twist into the tale.

Another aspect of the lesson focuses on the application of suffixes to verbs without altering the root word's spelling. The children observe Grandma's counting during the game and discuss the highlighted words: 'count', 'counting', and 'counted'. They explore the similarities and differences in these words and extend their understanding by applying the same grammatical rule to other verbs such as 'play', 'help', 'search', and 'look'. The lesson also incorporates a role-play activity where the children simulate a phone conversation between Mummy Bear and Grandma, expressing gratitude and concern for Goldilocks.
