The assessment sheet lists several graphemes in a sequence that the student must identify: s, a, t, p, i, n, m, d, g, o, c, k, ck, e, u, r, h, b, f, and l. The teacher will instruct the learner to pronounce the phoneme associated with each grapheme and record their responses. It is important to note that if the child begins to struggle significantly, or once 60 seconds have elapsed, the activity should be stopped. The teacher will mark a 'yes' or 'no' on the assessment sheet for each grapheme to indicate whether the student correctly identified the phoneme.
