For instance, to determine how many people visited the zoo in July, they must locate the month of July on the horizontal axis, follow the vertical line upwards to find a green dot representing the number of visitors, and then trace a horizontal line from the dot to the vertical axis. The graph shows that there were 40,000 visitors in July. Similarly, to find out which months had the highest attendance of 50,000 visitors, they look for the horizontal line at the 50,000 mark and identify the months corresponding to the green dots on this line. The graph reveals that January and December each had 50,000 visitors, indicating peak attendance during these months.
