Digit Cards - Multiples of 10, 100 and 1000
Maths Resource Description
KS2Gems has designed a set of digit cards to support the learning of multiples of 10, 100, and 1000, which are fundamental concepts in mathematics for Key Stage 2 students. The cards range from 10 up to 10000, with each card clearly displaying a number that is a multiple of these base values. The multiples of 10 start from 10 and go up in increments of 10, ending at 100. This set is ideal for helping children understand the sequence of numbers and the concept of multiplication by 10, reinforcing their numeracy skills.
Building on this, the next set of digit cards showcases multiples of 100, beginning at 100 and increasing by hundreds up to 1000. The largest set focuses on multiples of 1000, starting from 1000 and progressing in thousand increments until reaching 10000. These cards are a practical tool for teaching students about larger numbers and their relationships, as well as providing a visual aid for various mathematical activities such as ordering, comparing, and performing arithmetic operations with multiples of 10, 100, and 1000.
