They are asked to subtract double 9 from 18 and to solve how many apples would be in each of two bowls if 12 apples were shared equally. To develop their understanding of number sequences, they fill in missing numbers with one less and one more than the given number, spanning from single to double digits. Lastly, they are encouraged to think critically about numerical order by arranging groups of numbers from greatest to least, thereby reinforcing their comprehension of numerical value and order.
