2D Shapes - Year 1 Year 1 Maths programme of study - Geometry - properties of shapes: recognise and name common 2-D shapes, including: 2-D shapes [for example, rectangles (including squares), circles, triangles] In '2D Shapes - Year 1' pupils recognise and name 2D shapes (circles, squares, rectangles and triangles).
