Label countries that border the Mediterranean
Geography Resource Description
The Mediterranean Sea is bordered by several countries from three different continents: Europe, Asia, and Africa. Using a map of Europe to identify the countries that border the Mediterranean, one would label the following European countries: Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, and Turkey (the part that is geographically in Europe). Each of these countries shares a coastline with the Mediterranean Sea and should be carefully labeled on the map for clarity.
The Mediterranean region is a highly popular holiday destination for many British people due to various factors. The area offers a warm and sunny climate, beautiful beaches, rich history, diverse cultures, and exquisite cuisines. Its proximity to the UK makes it easily accessible for travelers seeking a relatively quick escape to a scenic and relaxing environment. The Mediterranean Sea itself is located between Southern Europe and Northern Africa, extending from the Atlantic Ocean in the west to the Asian continent in the east, and is almost entirely enclosed by land.
