Blockbusters is an engaging plenary activity designed to consolidate students' understanding in a fun and competitive manner. The objective of the game is for each team to connect a line of their respective colours across a board of hexagons, with the blue team aiming to create a horizontal line and the white team striving for a vertical one. Each hexagon on the board is associated with a letter, and the quizmaster poses questions related to these letters, such as 'What R is the surname of the author of the Harry Potter books?'

When a question is asked, the team that answers correctly first gets to change the colour of the hexagon to their team colour by clicking on it; once for blue and twice for white. If both teams answer incorrectly, the hexagon turns black after three clicks and is removed from play. The game continues until one team successfully creates an unbroken line across the board in their colour.
