Day and Night - 4th Grade 4th Grade science programme of study - Earth and space: use the idea of the Earth's rotation to explain day and night and the apparent movement of the sun across the sky In this science teaching resource pupils discover why the Earth has day and night and why it appears that the Sun moves across the sky.
