Ordering Objects and Numbers - 1st Grade 1st Grade math programme of study - Number (number and place value): compare and order numbers from 0 to 100: use <, > and + signs identify, represent and estimate numbers using different representations recognise the place value of each digit in a two-digit number (tens and ones) read and write numbers to at least 100 in numerals and in words use place value and number facts to solve problems. In this math teaching resource, pupils compare and order objects and numbers from smallest to largest and largest to smallest. These activities cover the year 2 curriculum objectives listed above and support the White Rose small steps guidance for year 2 - Autumn - Block 1 - Place Value.
